Brief history of Israel :

In the last part of previous chapter we read that the Antichrist is going to wage war against Israel the God's people and will be defeated by the power of Messiah. Before we go in detail about the war of Antichrist, it is necessary to know the brief history of Israel . Only then we can clearly understand the prophecy of the holy verses in correct sense.  

Israel Promised Land:

Genesis 12:3 brings forth the blessings of God to Abraham when the Lord calls him for the first time. Let us read the holy verses: “and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Let us read also Genesis 12:7 where the Lord promised Abraham that he will give the land of Canaanites to his offspring: “then the Lord appeared to Abram, and said, ‘ To your offspring I will give this land .'” This is the land of old Canaanites which is presently known as Israel that is the Promised Land by God Almighty for Israelis. It was not promised to any other descendants of Abraham but only to the descendants of Isaac that too, to the descendants of Jacob the grandson of Abraham and thus to Israelis.  

Lord's covenant with Abraham:

Genesis 17:1-8 say, “When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said to him, ‘I am God Almighty; walk before me, and be blameless. 2 And I will make my covenant between me and you , and will make you exceedingly numerous.' 3 Then Abram fell on his face; and God said to him, 4 ‘As for me, this is my covenant with you : You shall be the ancestor of a multitude of nations. 5 No longer shall your name be Abram, but your name shall be Abraham ; for I have made you the ancestor of a multitude of nations. 6 I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you. 7 I will establish my covenant between me and you, and your offspring after you throughout their generations, for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your offspring after you. 8 And I will give to you, and to your offspring after you, the land where you are now an alien, all the land of Canaan , for a perpetual holding; and I will be their God.'”  

Covenant with Isaac:

Let us read Genesis 17:15-21: “ 15 God said to Abraham, ‘As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her Sarai, but Sarah shall be her name. 16 I will bless her, and moreover I will give you a son by her . I will bless her, and she shall give rise to nations; kings of peoples shall come from her.' 17 Then Abraham fell on his face and laughed, and said to himself, ‘Can a child be born to a man who is a hundred years old? Can Sarah, who is ninety years old, bear a child?' 18 And Abraham said to God, ‘O that Ishmael might live in your sight!' 19 God said, ‘ No, but your wife Sarah shall bear you a son, and you shall name him Isaac . I will establish my covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his offspring after him. 20 As for Ishmael, I have heard you; I will bless him and make him fruitful and exceedingly numerous; he shall be the father of twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation. 21 But my covenant I will establish with Isaac , whom Sarah shall bear to you at this season next year.'

Promise to descendants of Isaac:

The Lord renews and upholds the covenant made between the Lord and Abraham with Isaac the descendant of Abraham. Genesis 26:2-5 say, “ 2 The Lord appeared to Isaac and said, ‘Do not go down to Egypt ; settle in the land that I shall show you. 3 Reside in this land as an alien, and I will be with you, and will bless you; for to you and to your descendants I will give all these lands , and I will fulfill the oath that I swore to your father Abraham. 4 I will make your offspring as numerous as the stars of heaven, and will give to your offspring all these lands; and all the nations of the earth shall gain blessing for themselves through your offspring, 5 because Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.'”  

Promise to Israelis only:

Jacob who is also called Israel is the second son of Isaac. The elder is Esau. But the Lord maintains and continues his promise only with Jacob - Israel . Genesis 28:4 & 10-15 say about the blessings that Isaac gives to Jacob (Israel): “ ‘ 4 May he give to you the blessing of Abraham, to you and to your offspring with you, so that you may take possession of the land where you now live as an alien—land that God gave to Abraham.'”

Genesis 10-15 says, “ 10 Jacob left Beer-sheba and went towards Haran . 11 He came to a certain place and stayed there for the night, because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones of the place, he put it under his head and lay down in that place. 12 And he dreamed that there was a ladder set up on the earth, the top of it reaching to heaven ; and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. 13 And the Lord stood beside him and said, ‘ I am the Lord , the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac ; the land on which you lie I will give to you and to your offspring; 14 and your offspring shall be like the dust of the earth, and you shall spread abroad to the west and to the east and to the north and to the south; and all the families of the earth shall be blessed in you and in your offspring. 15 Know that I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.' ” Here we see that the Lord chooses only Israel to be the rightful descendants of Abraham for the promise of his covenant . So the lord considered only Isaac and his son Israel who were the descendants of Sarah the real wife of Abraham as the rightful descendants of Abraham.  

Children of the flesh – not counted:

Even though Ishmael was the son of Abraham through Agar the Egyptian slave, the Lord did not bless him with the promise of the covenant as the children of promise are only counted as descendants. This is what St. Paul says in Roman 9:7-15, “ 7 And not all of Abraham's children are his true descendants; but ‘It is through Isaac that descendants shall be named after you.' 8 This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as descendants . 9 For this is what the promise said, ‘About this time I will return and Sarah shall have a son.' 10 Nor is that all; something similar happened to Rebecca when she had conceived children by one husband, our ancestor Isaac. 11 Even before they had been born or had done anything good or bad (so that God's purpose of election might continue, 12 not by works but by his call) she was told, ‘The elder shall serve the younger.' 13 As it is written, ‘have loved Jacob, but I have hated Esau.' 14  What then are we to say? Is there injustice on God's part? By no means! 15 For he says to Moses, ‘I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.'”

So, according to the Covenant of the Lord, the land of old Canaanites which is presently known as Israel is the territory of Promised Land for Israelis by God Almighty. It was not promised to any other descendants of Abraham but only to the descendants of Isaac that too, to the descendants of Jacob the grandson of Abraham. So the land of Israel belongs to Israelites only where they will live for ever with royal power (Ezekiel 37:23-28), through that, the Kingdom of God in all the earth will emerge in full sense after the fall of Antichrist.  

Sin of Israel :

God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob was with Moses and with the descendants of Jacob the Israelites. The first king of Israel was Saul and then King David succeeded him. His son Solomon committed the sin of idol worshiping that led to the God's punishment on Israel (1Kings 11:1-13) and thereby kingdom of Solomon was divided into two namely, Judah and Israel at the time of his son King Rehoboam (1King 12:1-20). Israel fell in idol worshiping (1King 12:28-31) and the people of Judah also became idol worshipers along with Israel . (Jeremiah 2:1-37)  

Punishment for sin:

Lord sent many prophets asking the Israel to repent. But it did not repent. The Lord felt sorry and angry that we read in Isaiah chapter 2 to 5 . Israel was put under punishment for the sin they committed against God and so, God sent prophet Isaiah to shut down their eyes, ears and mind. Isaiah blinded their eyes, shut their ears and hardened their heart and prophesied that they will be scattered unto the end of the world (Isaiah 6:8-12). Accordingly, when Jesus the real Messiah came to the world, they could not recognize him but crucified him. This was the greatest sin of Israel that deserves severe punishment. So, the punishment foretold by Jesus in Matthew 23:37-38 & 24:1-2 fell on them and the Israel was scattered unto the end of the earth in 70 AD. Jesus told in Matthew 23:39, “For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord.'” ‘The one who is Blessed' is Jesus.  

Jesus is the Messiah:

A Samaritan woman had a conversation with Jesus where he had explicitly revealed that he is Messiah. Let us read John 4:25: “ 25 The woman said to him, ‘I know that Messiah is coming' (who is called Christ). ‘When he comes, he will proclaim all things to us.' 26 Jesus said to her, ‘ I am he , the one who is speaking to you.'” Yet the Israelites did not accept Jesus as Messiah.  

Parable regarding their dispersion:

So Jesus told a parable about their dispersion in Mark 12:1-12: “ 1 Then he began to speak to them in parables. ‘ A man planted a vineyard, put a fence around it, dug a pit for the wine press, and built a watch-tower; then he leased it to tenants and went to another country. 2 When the season came, he sent a slave to the tenants to collect from them his share of the produce of the vineyard. 3 But they seized him, and beat him, and sent him away empty-handed. 4 And again he sent another slave to them; this one they beat over the head and insulted. 5 Then he sent another, and that one they killed. And so it was with many others; some they beat, and others they killed. 6 He had still one other, a beloved son. Finally he sent him to them, saying, “They will respect my son.” 7 But those tenants said to one another, “This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.” 8 So they seized him, killed him , and threw him out of the vineyard. 9 What then will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the tenants and give the vineyard to others. 10 Have you not read this scripture: “The stone that the builders rejected   has become the cornerstone; 11 this was the Lord's doing,   and it is amazing in our eyes”?' 12  When they realized that he had told this parable against them, they wanted to arrest him, but they feared the crowd. So they left him and went away.”

Here the owner of the vineyard is God the Father. The tenants are Israelites. Slaves are prophets of God the Father. The beloved son is Jesus. Since they crucified him, the Israelites were destroyed and scattered to many nations by God Almighty in 70 A D. The mountains of Israel were laid waste for a long time.

Hope of gathering:

But prophet Isaiah gave a hope that they will be gathered together and brought back to their own land from many nations out of mercy of the Lord. Let us read Isaiah 11:11-14: “On that day the Lord will extend his hand yet a second time to recover the remnant that is left of his people, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Ethiopia, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the Coastlands of the sea. He will raise a signal for the nations, and will assemble the outcasts of Israel , and gather the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. The jealousy of Ephraim shall depart, the hostility of Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim shall not be jealous of Judah , and Judah shall not be hostile towards Ephraim. But they shall swoop down on the backs of the philistines in the west; together they shall plunder the people of the east. They shall put forth their hand against Edom and Moab , and the Ammonites shall obey them.”

Hope of gathering in Tobit:

Tobias also mentioned about this in Tobit 14:4-7 , “For I know and believe that whatever God has said will be fulfilled and will come true; not a single word of the prophecies will fail. All of our kindred, inhabitants of the land of Israel , will be scattered and taken as captives from the good land; and the whole land of Israel will be desolate, even Samaria and Jerusalem will be desolate. And the temple of God in it will be burned to the ground, and it will be desolate for a while.  “But God will again have mercy on them, and God will bring them back into the land of Israel ; and they will rebuild the temple of God , but not like the first one until the period when the times of fulfillment shall come. After this they all will return from their exile and will rebuild Jerusalem in splendor; and in it the temple of God will be rebuilt , just as the prophets of Israel have said concerning it.  Then the nations in the whole world will all be converted and worship God in truth. They will all abandon their idols , which deceitfully have led them into their error;  and in righteousness they will praise the eternal God. All the Israelites who are saved in those days and are truly mindful of God will be gathered together; they will go to Jerusalem and live in safety forever in the land of Abraham , and it will be given over to them. Those who sincerely love God will rejoice, but those who commit sin and injustice will vanish from all the earth.””

When they would be gathered, it is said that there will no division among them and they will become one race in the hands of God and there will be no division as Judah and Israel (Ezekiel 37:15-22).  

Gathering accomplished:

This is what has been happening in the present time. Dispersed Judah and Israel were gathered from the four corners of the earth in 1948 and they were brought back to their own land and now they become one under the name Israel . Now, there is no jealousy or hostility among Ephraim , Israel and Judah. They got victory over the people around them. Now the present problem is going on against Palestine . In the immediate future, the dispute between Palestine and Israel also will come to an end and Israel will get a period of console and peace.  

This is exact time:

When the peace and security prevails in Israel , we have to understand that it is the time for Antichrist to invade Israel and profane the Temple of Jerusalem that will be the beginning of the Day of the Lord the great Chastisement Days. Let us remember 1 Thessalonians 5:2-5 here also : “For you yourselves know very well that the day of the lord will come like a thief in the night. When they say, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them, as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and there will be no escape! But you , beloved, are not in darkness, for that day to surprise you like a thief ; for you are all children of light and children of the day; we are not of the night or of the darkness.”  

Invasion of Antichrist foretold:

He comes form remotest north:

In this period of peace and security, Antichrist will invade Israel . Gog , the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal referred in Ezekiel 38:3-9 is Antichrist. Let us read Ezekiel 38:3-9: “Thus says the Lord God: I am against you, O Gog , chief prince of Meshech and Tubal ; I will turn you round and put hooks into your jaws, and I will lead you out with all your army, horses and horsemen all of them clothed in full armour, a great company, all of them with shield and buckler, wielding swords. Persia , Ethiopia , and Put are with them, all of them buckler and helmet; Gomer and its troops; Beth–Togarmah from the remotest parts of the north with all its troops – many peoples are with you. Be ready and keep ready, you and all the companies that are assembled around you, and hold yourselves in reserve for them. After many days you shall be mustered; in the later years you shall go against a land restored from the war, a land where people were gathered from many nations on the mountain of Israel , which had long lain waste; its people were brought out from the nations and now are living in safety, all of them. You shall advance, coming on like a storm; you shall be like a cloud covering the land , you and all your troops, and many peoples with you.” This is what we saw in Daniel 7:21 also that reads, “As I looked, this horn (Antichrist) made war with the holy ones and was prevailing over them.”

He was spoken of by prophets:

Actually, the Lord is conducting the war and brings Antichrist from the remotest parts of the north of the world. Let as read Ezekiel 38:14-17 also: “Therefore, mortal, prophesy, and say to Gog : Thus says the Lord God: On that day when my people Israel are living securely , you will rouse yourself and come from your place out of the remotest parts of the north , you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great horde, a mighty army; You will come up against my people Israel, like a cloud covering the earth. In the later days I will bring you against my land, so that the nations may know me, when through you, O Gog, I display my holiness before their eyes. Thus says the Lord God: are you he of whom I spoke in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel , who in those days prophesied for years that I would bring you against them?”

Let us read Ezekiel 39:1-2 also “And you, mortal, prophecy against Gog, and say: Thus says the Lord God: I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal! I will turn you around and drive you forward, and bring you up from the remotest parts of the north, and lead you against the mountains of Israel . ”  

Remotest part of north is Russia :

We know that the remotest part of north is Russia . Antichrist is coming from remotest parts of the north of the world that is from Russia . The above verses name Antichrist as Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. The associates of Gog are the people of Persia ( Iran ), kusu, Put, Gomer, and Beth–Togarma. We read that Beth–Togarma is also from remotest parts of the north.  

He is descendant of Japheth:

It is exciting to know that these Gog, Meshech, Tubal, Gomer, Togarma are the descendants of Japheth the third son of Noah of Genesis. Let us read Genesis 10:1-5 “These are the descendants of Noah's sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth; children were born to them after the flood. The descendants of Japheth: Gomer , Magog , Madai, Javan, Tubal , Meshech , and Tiras. Descendants of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah . The descendants of Javan: Elishah, Tar shish, Kittim, and Rodanim. From these the coastland peoples spread. These are descendants of Japheth in their lands, with their own language, by their families, in their nations.”

We see in Genesis 10:5 the descendants of Japheth spread in coastland. It does not say about whether they moved towards north or south. On the contrary, it is said that the descendants of Ham and Shem, the other sons of Noah moved towards the south (Genesis 10:6-15) . The descendants of Japheth might have moved towards north. So it is said in Ezekiel 38:2-10 that the descendants of Japheth namely Magog, Togarma, etc are invading Israel from the remotest parts of the north of the world. Antichrist belongs to the descendants of Japheth the third son of Noah who comes from the north of the world.

The disaster from Antichrist:

In Joel 2:1-11 God says about the army of allies of Antichrist that attacks Israel at the day of the Lord, “Blow the trumpet in Zion ; sound the alarm in my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the Lord is coming, it is near – a day of darkness and gloom , a day of clouds and thick darkness! Like blackness spread upon the mountains a great and powerful army comes; their like has never been from of old, nor will be again after them in ages to come . Fire devours in front of them and behind them a flame burns. Before them the land is like the Garden of Eden, but after them a desolate wilderness, and nothing escapes them . They have the appearances of horses, and like the war horses they charge. As with the rumbling of the chariots they leap on the tops of the mountains, like the crackling of a flame of fire devouring the stubble, like a powerful army drawn up for battle. Before them the peoples are in anguish, all faces grow pale . *Like warriors they charge, like soldiers they scale the wall, each keeps to its own course, they do not swerve from their paths. They do not jostle one another, each keeps to its own tracks; they burst through the weapons and are not halted. They leap upon the city, they run upon the walls, they climb up into the houses, they enter through the windows like a thief. ** The earth quakes before them, the heavens tremble, the sun and the moon are darkened and the stars withdraw their shining . The Lord utters his voice at the head of his army; how vast is his host! Numberless are those who obey his command. Truly the day of the Lord is great; terrible indeed – who can endure it?”  

*Bombers, missiles and other weapons:

We read in Joel 2:7-9, “Like warriors they charge, like soldiers they scale the wall, each keeps to its own course, they do not swerve from their paths. They do not jostle one another, each keeps to its own tracks; they burst through the weapons and are not halted. They leap upon the city, they run upon the walls, they climb up into the houses, they enter through the windows like a thief. ” These verses describe about bombers, missiles and other weapons of Antichrist and his allies.  

**The Thick Darkness:

We read here that the earth quakes before them, the heavens tremble, the sun and the moon are darkened and the stars withdraw their shining. This is due to the blast of Nuclear weapons by Antichrist and his allies. It will take place often during the End Time War. As I already told, when the nuclear weapon is dropped, the mountains and cliffs and cities were vaporized due to the enormous heat produced by these bombardments. These vapor and dust shall rise high and reach the sky as a dark thick fog that will prevent sun, moon and stars shining on the earth so that the attacked area in wide circle will be in utter darkness. Where ever it is dropped this darkening will be occurred in that area. Let us read again Joel 2:31, “The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood , before the great and terrible day of the L ORD comes.” Whenever the thick fog is lighter and reddish, the moonlight comes through this fog become red so that the moon turns to blood.  

Succeeds in what he does :

We can find out some glimpses of fact regarding Antichrist in Daniel 8:23-25 also, “At the end of the rule, when the transgressions have reached their full measure, a king of bold countenance shall arise, skilled in intrigue . He shall grow strong in power, shall cause fearful destruction, and shall succeed in what he does . He shall destroy the powerful and the people of the holy ones. By his cunning he shall make deceit prosper under his land.” According to the private revelation I got from the Lord, even United States of America or European countries can not prevent him attacking Israel and setting up the desolating abomination in the Holy Temple . All faces grow pale.

Exalt himself greater than any god:

Daniel 11:36-39 say about Antichrist, “The king shall act as he pleases. He shall exalt himself and consider himself greater than any god, and shall speak horrendous things against the God of gods. He shall prosper until the period of wrath is completed, for what is determined shall be done. He shall pay no respect to the gods of his ancestors, or to the one beloved by woman; he shall pay no respect to any other god, for he shall consider himself greater than all . He shall honor the god of fortresses instead of these; a god whom his ancestors did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and costly gifts. He shall deal with the strongest fortresses by the help a foreign god. Those who acknowledge him he shall make more wealthy, and shall appoint them as rulers over many, and shall distribute the land for a price”.  

He shall pitch his regal tents near Israel :

Let us read Daniel 11: 40-45: “At the time of the end the king of the south shall attack him. But the king of the north shall rush upon him like whirl wind, with chariots and horseman, and with many ships. He shall advance against countries and pass through like flood. He shall come into the beautiful land, and tens of thousands shall fall victim , but Edom and Moab and the main part the Ammonites shall escape from his power. He shall stretch out of his hand against the countries, and the land of Egypt shall not escape. He shall become ruler of the treasures of gold and of silver, and all the riches of Egypt and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall follow in his train . But reports from the east and the north shall alarm him, and he shall go out with great fury to bring ruin and complete destruction to many. He shall pitch his palatial tents between the sea and the beautiful holy mountain . Yet he shall come to this end with no one to help him.”  

Jerusalem will be captured:

Now the prophecy of Zechariah comes true. Let us read Zechariah 14:2: “For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken and the houses looted and the women raped; half the city shall go into exile, but the rest of the people shall not be cut off from the city.” In this time, Jerusalem city will be captured by Antichrist.  

Set up the desolate abomination:

Finally, he sets the desolate abomination/sacrilege in the temple and continues his war. Let us read Daniel 11:31-35 : “Forces send by him shall occupy and profane the temple and fortress. They shall abolish the regular burnt offering and set up the abomination that makes desolate . He shall seduce with intrigue those who violate the covenant; but the people who are loyal to their God shall stand firm and take action. The wise among the people shall give understanding to many; for some days, however, they shall fall by sword and flame, and suffer captivity and plunder. When they fall victim, they shall receive a little help , and many shall join them insincerely. Some of the wise shall fall, so that they may be refined, purified , and cleansed, until the time of the end, for them is still an interval until the time appointed.” The answer to the question why the Lord allows this type of captivity again even after they are gathered from the remotest part of the world is that they did not accept Jesus as Messiah even after they are gathered again.

Disaster in towns of Israel :

In this time, the towns of Chorazin, Bethsaida and Capernaum meet their fate according to Matthew 11:20-24 . Let us read the verses: “ 20 Then he began to reproach the cities in which most of his deeds of power had been done, because they did not repent.  21 “ Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida ! For if the deeds of power done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon , they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.  22 But I tell you, on the day of judgment it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon than for you.  23 And you, Capernaum , will you be exalted to heaven? No, you will be brought down to Hades. For if the deeds of power done in you had been done in Sodom , it would have remained until this day.  24 But I tell you that on the day of judgment it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom than for you.” You can be sure that on the Judgment Day God will show more mercy to Sodom than to you.” Here we have to note that the words ‘day of judgment' denote the Day of the Lord where the wicked are punished by the sufferings.  

His arrogances:

Daniel 8:9-12 describe Antichrist as the little horn that acts arrogantly. Let us read the verses: “Out of one of them came another horn, a little one, which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the east, and toward the beautiful land. It grew as high as the host of heaven. It threw down to the earth some of the host and some of the stars, and rambled on them. Even against the prince of the host it acted arrogantly; it took the regular burnt offering away from him and over threw the place of his sanctuary . Because of wickedness , the host was given over to it together with the regular burnt offering; it cast truth to the ground, and kept prospering in what it did.”  

Time of restoration:

In this time, the children of God shall not be desperate. They have hope. Even though the temple of God is given under the hands of Antichrist, for a time of thousand two hundred and sixty days until his fall, it will take two thousand three hundred days to restore its original perfect state. Let us read Daniel 8:13-14 “ Then I heard a holy one speaking, and another holy one said to the one that spoke, “For how long is this vision concerning the regular burnt offering, the transgression that makes desolate, and the giving over of the sanctuary and host to be trampled ?” And he answered him, “For two thousand three hundred evenings and mornings; then the sanctuary shall be restored to its rightful state.” (approximately 6 years 3 months and 20 days.)  

These are End Time visions:

Prophet Daniel says that Arc angel Gabriel tells in Daniel 8:17 that these visions are related to the End Time. Let us read the verses: “So he came near where I stood; and when he came, I became frightened and fell prostrate. But he said to me, “Understand, O mortal, that the vision for the time of the end.”  

Suffering of Israel is justified:

When we look into the past and present sins of Israel , anyway, they are not at all eligible to be the God's people. So, through these punishment and purification, they have to be purified fully so that they will be eligible to have the royal power for ever.

Ezekiel 22:17-22 say, “The word of the L ORD came to me:  Mortal, the house of Israel has become dross to me; all of them, silver, bronze, tin, iron, and lead. In the smelter they have become dross.  Therefore thus says the Lord God: Because you have all become dross, I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem .  As one gathers silver, bronze, iron, lead, and tin into a smelter, to blow the fire upon them in order to melt them; so I will gather you in my anger and in my wrath, and I will put you in and melt you.  I will gather you and blow upon you with the fire of my wrath, and you shall be melted within it.  As silver is melted in a smelter, so you shall be melted in it; and you shall know that I the L ORD have poured out my wrath upon you.”

Jeremiah 30:12-15 say ,  “ For thus says the L ORD : Your hurt is incurable, your wound is grievous.  There is no one to uphold your cause, no medicine for your wound, no healing for you.  All your lovers have forgotten you; they care nothing for you; for I have dealt you the blow of an enemy, the punishment of a merciless foe, because your guilt is great, because your sins are so numerous.  Why do you cry out over your hurt? Your pain is incurable. Because your guilt is great, because your sins are so numerous, I have done these things to you.”

Such a great sin Israel committed and so great purification through punishment is necessary. Zephaniah  1:4- 7 say, “I will stretch out my hand against Judah, and against all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off from this place every remnant of Baal  and the name of the idolatrous priests ; those who bow down on the roofs to the host of the heavens; those who bow down and swear to the L ORD , but also swear by Milcom; those who have turned back from following the L ORD , who have not sought the L ORD or inquired of him. Be silent before the Lord God! For the day of the L ORD is at hand; the L ORD has prepared a sacrifice, he has consecrated his guests.” Through these purification, the Israelites are getting purified. And then they will be God's own children.  

When the king of Gog, Antichrist is destroying Israel , other nations are condemning his cruel deeds. Ezekiel 38:13 says, “ 13 Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all its young warriors will say to you, “ Have you come to seize spoil? Have you assembled your horde to carry off plunder, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to seize a great amount of booty? ” ”  

Sufferings not to destroy:

Thus the army of Antichrist is proceeding on its victorious path and the Israel , the people of God fight with them with the power of Lord. But God let them suffer for the punishment of their sin. But God does not want to destroy them totally ; God will be just in punishing Israel . Let us read Jeremiah 30:11 : “ 11 For I am with you, says the L ORD , to save you; I will make an end of all the nations among which I scattered you, but of you I will not make an end. I will chastise you in just measure, and I will by no means leave you unpunished.”  

‘The holy ones of the Most High' is Israel :

But after the fall of Antichrist the Israel will receive the royal power that will last forever. Let us read Ezekiel 37: 23-28, “They shall never again defile themselves with their idols and their detestable things, or with any of their transgressions. I will save them from all the apostasies into which they have fallen, and will cleans them . Then they shall be my people and I will be their God. My servant David shall be king over them; and they shall all have one shepherd. They shall follow my ordinances and be careful absorb my statutes. They shall live in the land that I gave to my servant Jacob, in which your ancestors lived; they and their children and their children's children shall live there forever; and my servant David shall be there prince forever. I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; and I will bless them and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary among them for evermore. My dwelling place shall be with them; and I will be there God and they shall be my people. Then the nations shall know that I the Lord sanctify Israel , when my sanctuary is among them for evermore.” This is what Daniel 7:13-14, Daniel 7:22, Daniel 7:18, and Daniel 7:27 say as ‘the holy ones of the Most High' shall receive the kingdom that shall be an everlasting kingdom. This is the kingdom of God in full sense. Some commentators may say that ‘the holy ones of the Most High' referred in Daniel are Christians. But we must see the context that points towards Israel . All of the above holy verses exactly and directly fit with the history of Israel .
